Week in Review – November 22, 2015

The markets this week were mostly positive even with the bad news coming out of Syria between Russia and Turkey after Turkey forces shot down a Russian fighter jet.

It seems that more people were ordering “Black Friday” online this year according to early retail reports instead of showing in brick and mortal stores.

Dollar Tree, Campbell Soups, and Tyson all met or beat the the analyst expectations for the third quarter.  Game Stop, Tiffany, HP Enterprise, and HP missed the analyst expectations.

The Street.com has an article on the 10 signs of a market crash.  Most analysts would say that we’re not there yet although it seems and I agree with Jim Cramer that we have a “Rolling Bear Market”.

Stocks to reporting earnings and to watch for the upcoming week are: Bob Evans Farms (BOBE), American Eagle Outfitters (AEO), Box (BOX), Aeropostale (ARO), Dollar General (DG), Medtronic (MDT), Ambarella (AMBA), Kroger (KR), and Five Below (FIVE).
